Together, we have written a humor book called "Do I Grab the Computer or the Kids?"
The purpose of this book is to provide humor, inspiration, laughter, tears, and survival tips for today's women (and men). These chapters come from the minds of two funny middle-aged women, who are facing life's difficult situations each day, just like every other person on the planet.
About the Book:
In this book, we are offering answers to questions such as "How do you continue going on once you're pooped out and it's only 6:00 pm?" "What do you do when your muses are abundant and your kids need your attention?" "How did we ever deal with life before Post-It Notes?"
Some of our favorites titles are "The Dreaded OSS Disease," which was actually the impetus for this book; "Mommy's Not Here Right Now; She's Temporarily Out of Her Mind," "Get a Clue," and of course, the title piece, "Do I Grab the Computer or the Kids?"
We have learned from better teachers, such as Randy Pausch, Erma Bombeck, and Mitch Albom. We listen as Oprah gives us hints on how to become better people, and Ellen DeGeneres as she explores daily life with the outlook of a cockeyed optimist.
As women, writers, and moms, (and wives) we offer pointers on stress management, motivation, personal transformation, self-esteem, spiritual guidance, creativity, inner child, and writing skills. Above all, we offer you our humor, with a hug and a prayer and that you will continue to use our words to make each of your days brighter, and each of your dreams come true.
Don't let another day go by without reading "Do I Grab the Computer or the Kids?" We're sure our words will bring both laughter and tears, warmth to the heart, love to your soul, and insight to this crazy thing we call "life."
